Dr Pradeep. K works as a Professor & Head at the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in Subbaiah institute of dental sciences. He has completed his Master’s degree in Dental Surgery and has been working in the academic profession for over 16 years. His research activities are mainly focused on dental materials and specifically concern composite resins and biomaterials and rotary endodontics. He was external examiner for both undergraduate and post graduate to various universities and chaired scientific sessions in national conferences.

Overview
The department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at the Subbaiah Institute of Dental Science provides rich clinical experience dealing with the aetiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of Pulp and Periapical region of the adult. This department specializes in treatment of pulpal and periapical diseases through non-surgical and surgical methods. Every attempt is made to save all the badly mutilated teeth, irrespective of the age of the patient bringing them back to normal function and aesthetics. The department imparts meticulous training to the students at both undergraduate and post-graduate level. The department consists of state-of-the-art infrastructure and most of the latest equipments like, the Dental Operating Microscope, Lasers, loupes, digital radiography, thermoplasticized obturation system etc. The department has a well-trained, dedicating faculties for guidance and supervision of both undergraduate and post graduate students.
